According to L’Équipe and Fabrizio Romano, 18-year-old Ibrahim Mbappe wants to leave PSG. There are a whole host of suitors: Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, and Liverpool, Manchester City, United, Aston Villa and Chelsea in the Premier League.
Liverpool and Dortmund are the strongest. Leverkusen has already been rejected by PSG. And Leipzig have dropped out of the race for Mbappe because they sold their player – Yann Diomande – to Real Madrid, and not to PSG, as previously planned. PSG value Mbappe at €40-50 million.
📊 While the deal is not yet closed, it is more of a story for the future. If Mbappe goes to Liverpool, it will strengthen the attacking depth of the Merseysiders before the start of the Premier League season.
